General Questions
What is Adigy?
Adigy (formerly Adsology) is an automated Amazon ads management software specifically designed for KDP publishers. It helps optimize your Amazon advertising campaigns to improve performance and returns, particularly beneficial for lower ad spend or beginner publishers.
What's the difference between Adigy and AdsDroid?
Adigy is a self-service software tool best suited for lower ad spend or beginner publishers. AdsDroid is our premium "done for you" agency service for advanced publishers with higher ad spend, where a dedicated account manager personally monitors and manages your campaigns. AdsDroid offers more hands-on support and customization than the automated Adigy platform.
Why is Adsology transitioning to Adigy?
This is part of our rebranding process as we continue to evolve our platform and services. Your account functionality remains the same - only the name is changing to Adigy.
Does Adigy work for fiction or only non-fiction books?
The software works for both fiction and non-fiction books, though strategies may differ. Fiction books often benefit more from category and product targeting, while non-fiction may perform well with more keyword-focused campaigns.
How much does Adigy cost?
The standard subscription cost is $249 per month, plus a 3.3% fee of ad spend over $2,000. We also offer affiliate commission opportunities.
How soon can I expect to see a return on investment (ROI)?
This varies by book and category. Most users see their ACOS (Advertising Cost of Sale) start to improve within 3-4 weeks as the system gathers data, but optimal results typically appear around month 3. For new books with few reviews, expect a longer path to profitability as you build ranking and visibility.
Is there a free trial available?
No, Adigy does not offer a free trial, but we do provide a 30-day money-back guarantee if you're not satisfied with the service within the first 30 days of your subscription.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes, Adigy offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. If, for any reason, you're not satisfied with Adigy within 30 days of subscribing, simply contact support to request a full refund.
What happens to my campaigns if I cancel my subscription?
- Manually pause campaigns in Amazon Ads console, or
- Use the "Master Undo" button to restore your account to its pre-Adigy state
- Make sure to set the marketplace to "Off" in the Adigy settings
Is there an affiliate program?
Yes, you can join our affiliate program at https://Adigy.ai/partner. We offer 25% lifetime commissions, meaning if you refer 4 people, you get a 100% discount on your subscription going forward.
Setup & Configuration
How do I set up Adigy?
Setup involves connecting your Amazon KDP account via "Login with Amazon", installing the free Chrome extension, selecting which books you want Adigy to manage, and setting your advertising budget for different marketplaces in the Adigy dashboard. No forms or calls are needed to start today – just visit Adigy.ai and click "Start Today".
Why can't I connect to my US marketplace in Adigy?
This is usually a temporary authentication issue. Try logging out of both Amazon and Adigy, clearing your browser cache, and then logging back in. If the problem persists, contact support with screenshots of what you're seeing.
What do I do if my account gets stuck on syncing?
If your account appears stuck on syncing, first refresh the page, as this is sometimes a UI display glitch. If the issue persists, clear your browser's cache and cookies, try re-logging into your Amazon account in the same browser as the Adigy extension, or try a different browser (Google Chrome recommended). If the problem still continues, contact support.
Do I need to install the Chrome extension? What does it do?
Yes, the Chrome extension is essential as it syncs your royalty data from KDP into Adigy. The extension provides valuable insights by combining ad spend data with royalty information to give net profitability.
Does Adigy work with browsers other than Chrome?
The Adigy extension is specifically designed for Google Chrome and may not function correctly with other browsers like Safari, Brave, or Edge. We recommend using Google Chrome for the best experience.
What permissions does Adigy need?
Adigy needs to be connected to your Amazon KDP account and Amazon Advertising account to function properly. You'll need to grant Adigy editor access to your Amazon Ads account during onboarding and ensure you've accepted Amazon's advertising terms and conditions and added billing details to your Amazon account.
How do I add editor access for Adigy support?
- Go to: https://advertising.amazon.com/user/management/invite
- Enter this email address: Adigy@Adigy.ai
- Select "Editor" as the user permission
- Press "Select all" in the Country Access section
Press the "Invite users" button
My books are showing as "not eligible" or "out of stock" even though they're available. What's happening?
This can occur due to Amazon API limitations or temporary data issues. If your books are definitely active and available on Amazon, contact support with your ASIN information, and they can manually fix this in your account.
What should I do if I have duplicate book listings?
Duplicate book listings sometimes appear if different formats (paperback, hardcover, Kindle) of the same book exist. These listings are grouped for easier management. If you are still unsure, contact support with specific ASINs.
Is it normal to receive hundreds of email notifications from Amazon when starting with Adigy?
Yes, this is normal. When Adigy first sets up campaigns, Amazon sometimes sends notifications for each campaign creation and update. You can reduce these notifications by changing your notification preferences in the Amazon ads console or by setting up email filters in your email provider to delete them automatically.
Budget & Spending
How do I set my advertising budget in Adigy?
You can set your _monthly_ budget for each marketplace (e.g., US, UK, CA) in the Marketplace and Budget section of the Adigy dashboard. This budget is allocated across all campaigns and books managed by Adigy in that marketplace.
What's the minimum budget per marketplace?
The absolute minimum budget allowed per marketplace is 100 units in that market's respective currency (e.g., $100 USD, £100 GBP).
What budget do you recommend for effective results?
While you can start with the minimum of $100 per marketplace, we typically recommend allocating $500-$1,000 per marketplace for more effective results, especially if you have multiple books or want to maximize visibility. Higher budgets allow the system more room to test targets and optimize performance more quickly.
Is the budget set per book or for the entire account?
The budget is set per _marketplace_, not per book or for the entire account. Each marketplace (US, UK, CA, etc.) has its own separate budget.
Can I set individual budgets for different books?
Currently, you can only set budgets at the marketplace level (e.g., US, UK, CA), not for individual books. However, you can limit a book's ad spend by pausing it in certain marketplaces or by limiting the formats you advertise (e.g., only advertising paperback).
Will Adigy stay within my budget?
Yes, Adigy is designed to optimize your ad spend and stay within your set budget. The software actively manages campaigns to prevent overspending by adjusting bids and allocating budgets to the most promising targets.
My actual ad spend is much lower than my set budget. Is something wrong?
No, this is normal behavior, especially when you first start using the platform. Adigy begins conservatively while gathering data about which keywords and ASINs perform best for your books. As more data is collected, spend will gradually increase toward your set budget if profitable opportunities are identified. Additionally, Adigy strategically reduces ad spend during periods of lower demand or conversion rates, such as after the Christmas holiday rush.
How should I allocate my budget across different marketplaces?
For most publishers, the US marketplace tends to generate the most sales. A common approach is to allocate 60-70% of your total ad budget to the US, 20-25% to the UK and/or CA, and the remainder to other marketplaces. However, this can vary based on your specific books and target audience.
Does Adigy include the cost of ads in its subscription fee?
No, the $249 monthly fee is solely for the Adigy software subscription and access to its features. Amazon bills you separately for your actual ad spend, which is directly managed within your Amazon Advertising account.
How does Adigy allocate my budget across campaigns and targets?
The software allocates budget dynamically, prioritizing targets (keywords and ASINs) that demonstrate better performance and sales potential. It uses a sophisticated algorithm considering factors like historical performance, ACOS, and conversion rates to optimize budget allocation across all managed campaigns.
Why has my daily ad spend suddenly dropped or increased significantly?
Fluctuations in daily ad spend are normal and can occur for several reasons:
1. The system is adjusting bids based on recent performance data
2. Seasonal changes in competition (e.g., more advertisers during holidays)
3. Changes in your book's conversion rate (more/fewer reviews, price changes)
4. Amazon's internal auction dynamics changing Typically, these fluctuations balance out over the course of a month.
Are there any special budget considerations during holiday seasons?
Yes, Adigy automatically adjusts budget allocation during the Christmas period, reducing ad spend in the last week of December when conversion rates typically decrease, and reallocating budget to weeks 2 and 3 of December which have higher demand.
Features & Functionality
What does Adigy do with my existing campaigns?
Adigy seamlessly integrates with your Amazon Ads account and will automatically take over management of all your existing campaigns for managed books, optimizing bids and budgets to improve performance.
Does Adigy create new campaigns?
Yes, Adigy is designed to create new campaigns automatically to expand your reach and test various targeting strategies including:
- Auto campaigns for product and keyword discovery
- Broad campaigns for research
- Product targeting to get sales from your competitors
- Brand defense campaigns to protect your brand
- Gold Panning campaigns to snipe at sporadic low CPC ad placements
Why are so many new campaigns created when I start using Adigy?
The creation of multiple campaigns, especially Gold Panning campaigns, is part of Adigy's keyword discovery and optimization process. The software will take your budget into account and ensure those campaigns don't overspend.
What does the naming convention for campaigns mean (e.g., TI1E-SP-GP-B0DD86533Y-Paperback-ZPOMTS)?
Our naming convention helps organize campaigns for easy identification and performance tracking. It follows this structure: Book Title Abbreviation-Ad Type-Campaign Purpose-ASIN-Format-Unique Identifier. For example, "TI1E" is taken from the book title, "SP" stands for Sponsored Products, "GP" indicates a Gold Panning campaign which is for research, followed by your book's ASIN, format (Paperback), and a unique identifier.
Can I run ads for only certain formats of my book (e.g., paperback only, not Kindle)?
Yes, you can select which formats to advertise for each book. Navigate to the book's page in Adigy and use the format toggles to enable or disable specific formats like paperback, Kindle, or hardcover.
How do I stop Adigy from advertising certain book formats (e.g., Kindle, hardcover)?
You can pause advertising for specific formats (Kindle, paperback, hardcover) directly from the book's detail page in Adigy by using the pause buttons next to each format.
What are Top 10 Targets and how do I use them?
Top 10 Targets are keywords or ASINs that you manually select as most important for your book's advertising strategy. By adding up to 10 Top Targets per book, you signal to Adigy to focus extra attention and budget on these specific targets, ensuring they are aggressively promoted. You can add 10 keywords and 10 product (ASIN) targets for a total of 20.
What happens if I add more than 10 Top Targets?
While you can add more than 10 Top Targets, we recommend sticking to a focused group of highly relevant keywords and ASINs to make your advertising on point.
What are the "Exact Negatives" and "Phrase Negatives"?
These are ways to prevent your ads from showing for specific search terms:
- Exact Negative: Blocks ads from showing only for the exact search term (e.g., blocking "dog training book" won't block "dog training books")
- Phrase Negative: Blocks ads for any search term containing the phrase (e.g., blocking "dog training" will block "dog training books", "best dog training", etc.) Use these to prevent wasting ad spend on irrelevant or unprofitable searches.
Why do I see highly relevant targets listed as blockers in the Opportunities tab?
Sometimes the system identifies targets that appear relevant but have performed poorly (high ACOS or many clicks with no sales). If you believe these are actually relevant and important for your book, you can unblock them. The system uses historical performance data for its recommendations, but you have final control.
What are Gold Panning (GP) campaigns?
GP campaigns are a unique and efficient strategy used by Adigy to snipe at low bid ad opportunities. These campaigns are characterized by:
- Broad Match Keywords: GP campaigns utilize broad match keywords, which are **often very generic and may seem unrelated to your book at first glance**. This is intentional.
- Low Bids: Bids are set extremely low (around $0.11) to minimize spend while gathering data.
- Research Focus: The primary goal of GP campaigns is not immediate high sales, but rather to identify low bid keywords that may convert at a low cost.
- Low ACOS: GP campaigns typically maintain a low Advertising Cost of Sale (ACOS) of around 19%.
- Safety: Due to low bids and budget allocation, GP campaigns are considered very low risk and safe to run for almost any book.
- High Volume: GP campaigns often involve a large number of keywords to maximize reach.
- No Manual Management Needed: These campaigns are fully automated and require no manual adjustments.
- User Interface: GP campaigns and their keywords are generally hidden from the user interface to prevent clutter and confusion, as they are primarily background processes for data collection.
Can I turn off Gold Panning campaigns?
Yes, you can disable the creation of GP campaigns in the settings under the Advanced subsection if you prefer not to use this strategy.
Why do some campaigns use unusual or seemingly random keywords?
Some campaigns may use keywords that seem unusual or random, especially Gold Panning (GP) campaigns. These keywords are used for research purposes and are part of a strategy to identify potentially profitable but less obvious search terms.
Can I edit campaigns directly in Amazon Ads Console while using Adigy?
Yes, you can, but we recommend minimal manual intervention for optimal results. The software needs time to learn which strategies work best for your books. If you frequently change bids, budgets, or targets manually, it disrupts this learning process and may lead to suboptimal results.
What happens if I add a new book while already using Adigy?
The book will be automatically added to the software in the Unmanaged section. Simply open the book and turn Adigy ON using the toggle in the top left. Then select the formats and markets you would like to advertise in. The system will create appropriate campaigns based on your budget and the book's characteristics. New books (less than 2 months old) receive special launch campaign treatment automatically.
Does Adigy support Video Ads?
Adigy can manage existing Sponsored Brands Video Ads, but currently, video ad creation needs to be done manually in the Amazon Ads console. Video ads you create yourself will be prioritised by the algorithm to ensure they get exposure.
What ad types does Adigy support?
Adigy primarily supports Sponsored Products ads, which are most effective for KDP books. It can also manage Sponsored Brands Product Collection and Sponsored Brands Video ads that are created manually.
Will Adigy optimize for different marketplaces?
Yes, Adigy is designed to optimize ads across all 11 marketplaces (US, UK, CA, AU, DE, FR, IT, ES, NL, MX, IN) supported by Amazon KDP. You can set separate budgets and manage campaigns for each marketplace.
How often does Adigy adjust bids and budgets?
Adigy is designed to be a "set it and forget it" tool. The software checks and updates bids and budgets automatically up to 6 times per day for larger accounts or daily for smaller accounts.
Can I manage only certain books in my account with Adigy?
Yes, you are free to rename the campaigns created by Adigy in your Amazon Ads console for better organization. Renaming campaigns does not affect Adigy's ability to manage them.
Can I rename the campaigns created by Adigy?
Yes, you are free to rename the campaigns created by Adigy in your Amazon Ads console for better organization. Renaming campaigns does not affect Adigy's ability to manage them.
How do I stop receiving so many email notifications from Amazon about campaign changes?
To reduce the volume of email notifications from Amazon Ads, adjust your notification settings within the Amazon Advertising platform directly, or set up email filters to automatically manage these notifications.
Performance & Optimization
How long does it take to see results with Adigy?
While some users see initial results within a few days, it typically takes 2-3 weeks to see noticeable improvements as the system gathers data and optimizes campaigns. For full optimization and stable performance, allow around three months, especially if you're launching new books.
What metrics does Adigy focus on?
Adigy primarily focuses on optimizing for your break even ACOS (Advertising Cost of Sale). It dynamically adjusts bids and budgets to balance ad spend with royalty income.
Why is my ACOS high when I first start using Adigy?
During the initial 2-3 week "discovery phase," ACOS may be higher than usual as Adigy gathers data and tests different keywords and targets to identify the most effective strategies for your book.
How many reviews do I need for effective advertising?
For basic advertising, aim for at least 5 reviews. For optimal performance:
- 5-10 reviews: Minimal viable number for advertising
- 15+ reviews: Good for standard advertising
- 30+ reviews: Strong performance potential
- 50-100+ reviews: Ideal for maximizing conversion rates Books with fewer than 5 reviews can still be advertised but expect higher ACOS and limited campaign types.
My book has a high ACOS despite being in a popular category. What could be wrong?
High ACOS despite good (relevant) targeting usually indicates conversion rate issues. Check:
1. Book cover quality and professional appearance
2. Book description clarity and appeal
3. Review quantity and quality
4. Proper category selection
5. Competitive pricing & price strike (discount)
6. A+ content quality
7. Look inside sample quality
8. Best seller badge
9. Bonuses offered
10. 5+ UGC videos (US market only)
Improving these elements can significantly lower your ACOS over time.
How does Adigy handle seasonal books or holiday-themed content?
The system detects seasonal patterns and adjusts bids accordingly. For best results with seasonal books:
1. Start advertising 4-6 weeks before the peak season
2. Increase your budget during the 2 months before the holiday
3. Add seasonal terms as Top 10 Targets
4. Consider manually pausing advertisements after the season has passed
Will Adigy optimize my campaigns during seasonal peaks?
Yes, Adigy is programmed to recognize and adapt to seasonal demand fluctuations, particularly during peak periods like Q4. It will automatically adjust budget allocation and bidding strategies to maximize performance during these critical sales periods.
What is a "good" ACOS for my books?
A good ACOS depends on your royalty rate and goals:
- Paperbacks typically have a break-even ACOS around 25-45%
- Kindle eBooks often have a break-even ACOS around 30% or 70%, depending on the price
- Hardcovers may have a break-even ACOS of 20-30%
During launch phases, you might accept higher ACOS (even 100%+) to build visibility. For established books, aim for ACOS at or below your break-even point.
What is the target ACOS that Adigy aims for?
Adigy aims to achieve a profitable ACOS, generally targeting the break-even ACOS for each book, ensuring that ad spend is balanced with royalty returns. For new book launches, the software will initially allow a higher ACOS to prioritize visibility and ranking.
Why are the bids changing so frequently on my campaigns?
Bid adjustments are a core part of Adigy's optimization process. The system constantly analyzes campaign performance and market conditions to automatically raise bids on performing keywords and lower bids on underperforming ones to maximize efficiency and ROI.
Why are some keywords with good performance (low ACOS) getting lower bids?
Adigy employs a sophisticated bidding strategy that considers not only ACOS but also factors like budget allocation, keyword relevance, and overall campaign goals. Lowering bids on even well-performing keywords can be a strategic move to redistribute budget to test new opportunities or optimize overall portfolio performance.
How does Adigy handle new book launches?
Adigy automatically detects new book launches and enters a launch mode, prioritizing visibility and sales velocity for new books in their first two months. During this launch phase, the software may be more aggressive with bidding and budget allocation to help new books gain initial traction and improve organic rankings.
Does Adigy automatically add negative keywords
Yes, Adigy's AI is designed to automatically identify and add negative keywords to your campaigns based on performance data. This helps to reduce wasted ad spend on irrelevant or underperforming search terms.
How do I manually add negative keywords or block ASINs?
You can manually add negative keywords and block ASINs through the "Negatives" tab in Adigy. Review the Negative Suggestions provided after you click the Add Negatives buttons (keywords and products have negatives) then add them to your negatives lists.
Why are some of my campaigns set to very low budgets?
Campaigns set with very low budgets (e.g., $1.01 daily budget) are typically campaigns that the software has identified as lower priority or underperforming. This is part of Adigy's budget optimization strategy to concentrate spend on more promising campaigns and targets.
What does it mean if my book is marked as "ineligible"?
A book marked as "ineligible" within Adigy means that the Amazon Ads platform is currently not allowing new campaigns to be created for that specific book. This can be due to various factors within Amazon's system, and Adigy may still be able to manage existing campaigns for ineligible books.
Trouble shooting & Support
How do I get support for Adigy?

To cancel your subscription, navigate to the "Account Settings" section in your Adigy dashboard and follow the cancellation prompts. For refund requests, contact support@Adigy.ai directly. Please refer to the refund guarantee policy.
Can I pause advertising for specific books or marketplaces?
Yes, you can pause advertising at the book level or marketplace level directly within the Adigy dashboard.
What happens if my payment fails?
If your subscription payment fails, your Adigy account may be temporarily paused until billing information is updated and payment is successful.
Why do some books show incorrect sales data in Adigy?
Discrepancies can occur for several reasons:
1. Syncing delays between KDP, Amazon Ads, and Adigy
2. KENP (Kindle page reads) counted differently between systems
3. Returns or cancelled orders impacting data
4. Marketplace currency conversion differences For most accurate data, compare figures over longer periods (weekly/monthly) rather than daily.
